When buying gifts for husband it is important for the relationship to ensure that you buy or do something that is going to be really appreciated. Which is sometimes easier said than done.

For example, throughout the year you tend to find that if us men need something such as a new pair of shoes or a tie etc then chances are we are probably likely to simply go out and buy it which, if that was what you were thinking of getting us, then it doesn’t help you ladies at all.

But if you think a little harder about what we might really like then I’m afraid the chances are that you will find that those items are more often than not just an easy option for you!

Why not then think of something that you both might enjoy so you get something out of it to? Read on!

The first gift I got for my wife was not so much a gift as a little treasure hunt. Let me explain. The afternoon started with us meeting up in a bar in the middle of town where we had a drink and I gave her an envelope which she had open immediately and follow the instructions inside.

These were that she should to proceed to the local chocolate shop where I had arranged for her to collect some hand made chocolates along with the next envelope which in turn, instructed her to proceed to a nearby florist.

Gifts For Husband

The florist had also been primed with handing over a bunch of flowers for her and another envelope telling her to catch a taxi to different bar nearby where I had, in the meantime, already made my way to.

The barman was waiting when she arrived with her flowers and chocolates which he took from her for safe keeping in exchange for the third envelope that contained enough money for us both to have another refreshment before she went on her way to the next port of call which was for a manicure. By now I’m sure you are getting the idea.

You may however be thinking about the cost of this but with a little adaptation it can obviously easily be suited to your gifts for husband budget as it was mine by simply tailoring the contents and number of envelopes accordingly.

The next envelope directed her to a nice little restaurant that we frequent and the final one had two tickets for a show that evening.

Can you imagine how pleased my wife was at the trouble I had gone to and how much I enjoyed doing it for her. Plus..I get great gifts to now as it is a theme that now use each year. So stretch your imagination when buying gifts for husband and just see how it enhances your relationship. I promise you it will!

Gift ideas for husband?

By admin · Comments (8)

I really want to give a meaningful gift to my husband before he deploys, not just some sexy picture. I have been thinking since we never had the chance to have a real wedding (just courthouse) if it would be nice if I wrote my own vows and read them to him and he could have them with him over there. Just wanted to see some other ideas. We just got married in June! What have you gave your husbands/wives? Or soldiers, your ideas about what you would want in this situation?

Maybe you could make some heart shaped cookies along with some pictutes of the both of you and go ahead and write what you want to say to him and read it to him. Make a nice bubble bath , throw some rose petals leading to the bubble bath with just candle light in the bathroom.

We had problems and separated four years ago. We’re working things out and he’s moving back in today. Would it be silly/overkill to leave a plate of warm cookies on the table for him, with a Welcome Home banner?

Lose the welcome home banner. You don’t want to appear to grateful, he has to work on making it work also. The quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so go for it.

for my parents and my sister and for his parents and his little sister.? My sister is 15 and his little sis is 6 and our parents, so what would you recomend getting them, please help???? here are some hints his dad just loves sweets, candies and stuff. And my dad, I have no idea what to get him?? please answer??

Do y’all get together for Christmas? How about you cooking a huge family dinner? And lots of baked goodies since you stated your hub’s dad loves ‘goodies’….if you know exactly what he loves, be it cookies, cake, whatever, surprise him w/ that special gift!

How about a gift card for the 15 yr old, but the 6 yr old? Oh wow, does she like to create? There are very inexpensive ‘jewelry/bead kits’ to make ‘necklaces, etc’—really cool stuff’. out there. like K-Mart has them, etc, for maybe 10 clams or under….6 yr olds love that stuff..

The 15 yr old? Maybe a sweater or cd of her fav music? Well, you would know what your own sis would like, right? You got it, you’ll do fine w/ her.

I don’t know, there aren’t too many details….

For the parents, a gift certificate for their favorite restauraunts, always a major hit…

Just please try not to obsess over ‘if all will like what you give’….just do it….it all comes from the heart, & from the question & statements you wrote, it all shows, you are a beautiful person who just wants to please all, & you will succeed!
Happy Christmas!
ps…does your father like cigars? Get him a nice box then….c’mon, surely you know what your father likes? How about a nice sweater or shirt? Any hobbies for a gift cert? If all else fails & you still have no clue, buy him lottery tickets then, that’s another ‘crowd pleaser’ it seems these days….

Just trying to help…but feel all will love what you give them…best wishes! & have a very happy holiday!

Okay so I am trying to figure out what I can do for my husband for fathers day that is cheap, and has to do with our son. Who is only a year old! If you have any idea please tell me!
thanks in advance

Two same t-shirts with father on one and son on the other, the ones you buy in little kiosk in a mall. Maybe it could say: (father’s name)’ son and the other one (son’s name)’ father. Let’s say your husband’s name is John and your son’s name is Justin. On your husband’s t-shirt, it would be written Justin’s father and on your son’s t-shirt, it would be written John’s son. Maybe it could be on your husband’s favourite sport’s team t-shirt.

He loves jazz, sports, dining out, cigars, wrist watches, cash, his family and music.

I say try to incorporate them all who would love to do all the things they love in one weekend especially when turning 50. Maybe try to go to a local sporting event that weekend maybe invite a couple of family members smoke some cigars have a few drinks. The next day make it about the two of you go out to dinner hit up a jazz club after maybe even spend the night out get a nice hotel. I think spending time with your family and the ones that your close with is the greatest way you can spend your birthdays! Good luck.

i want to give my husband a bunch of little inexpensive gifts for each year of his life with a little "reason i love you"note on each and one big gift for the last year – the only little thing i can think of is chocolate. Does anyone have additional small cheap things i can give him? The main gift isvery expensive so i really can’t afford to spend much more

How about going to the Dollar Store and looking around at their inventory. They generally have lots to pick from.

You could find a pair of Work gloves for a dollar and say I love you because you provide for me (us).

A bottle of shaving Cream-
Measuring tape-
Picture frame-
Key Chain-
Tools-

Check out some of these sites for idea’s and visit your local Dollar Store.http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Dollar+store

Good Luck, faith

Good Luck, faith

I got him a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, some Realities for men cologne, and a nice watch. Is that good enough or do I need to get him some more things?

No I think thats perfect. Just remember the more things you get him this year the more you’ll have to buy next year.

My kids got my husband a knife and a pair of bedtime pants for fathers day and i need a small scavenger hunt riddle to get him to find them.. i cant think of anything. any ideas?

If its a cooking knife i think its pretty obviouse you put it in the kitchen with a bow! Or if its a "special" knife to eat with give it to him for his morning breakfast to cut with. if its one of those knifes that you actually use to cut like tree bark with well ive got nothing. As for those pj’s i suggest you put them in his drawer, or under the pillow, im not sure.
Good luck!

Craftman Auto Hammer

My husband is very difficult to buy for, I have the worst luck when it comes to finding gifts for him. It surprises me that it is so hard for me to find a good gift for someone that I know so well. My husband has a lot of interests and you would think that this would make it easier for me to figure out what to buy for him, but it doesnt. The reason that he is so hard to buy for is that he has a very particular taste in everything. I have tried to buy him new colognes, clothing, sporting equipment, and many other things that I thought that I couldnt go wrong with and each time he would end up acting pleased and everything that I bought him would get tucked away in the back of the closet never to be seen again.

My husband does a lot of things around the house and he loves his tools. I decided to give it one more try and buy him something that I had seen and thought that he would have a use for. I knew the chances were very slim that he would actually use a tool that I found and picked out for him, but it looked so great that I couldnt resist. I went ahead and purchased it for him and figured it was worth the risk, it was so neat that I figured I would use it if he didnt.

I gave him the Craftsman Auto Hammer and I was very surprised that he seemed to really like it……….
